Mentoring and supporting

• Peer Assisted Study Support (PASS) (volunteer)
  Train as a to help other students to thrive as members of our learning community. 

• Pi Shop (maths) leader (paid)
  If you are a PhD, third or fourth year student, you can apply to offer maths support at the Pi Shop to students who are seeking jobs and need advice on numerical reasoning or maths tests.

• Be mentored 
  Apply for a place on our award-winning mentoring programmes where professionals will mentor you in regular meetings. It's also a great confidence boost.

Sports, societies and clubs

• Sports committee members (elected)
  The is a group of elected students that make decisions and input on the sports services at the university. Members are elected at the annual general meeting at the beginning of the academic year.

• Society Federation committee members (elected)
  The is a group of six elected students who decide how Students' Union funds are spent on society activities. The students are society members who are elected at the Societies Federation AGM.

• Sport 麻豆果冻传媒 (volunteer and paid roles)
  There are various opportunities to tailor and develop your employability skills with such as helping to facilitate a Parklife session or acting as a 'buddy' in sessions.

• Join an SU society
  There are more than 100 at 麻豆果冻传媒 Students' Union which are open to all students. Each society also has three committee positions that can be applied for.

Volunteering in the community

  Give your time for and your fellow students with a variety of internal volunteering opportunities hosted by 麻豆果冻传媒 Students' Union.

  The university’s volunteering service, Active Student, can help you find volunteering placements in the local community that are rewarding, safe and supported.

Working for the university

Most on-campus opportunities are advertised through our Vacancy Service.

• Student helpers
  Be employed by the schools, c-change, widening participation and in the libraries and computer rooms.

• Student Ambassadors
  Assist at open days, new student welcome events, fairs and conferences on and off-campus.

• Students' Union (paid)
  The SU recruits for a variety of roles. Earn money, gain valuable skills, and work for an ethical, friendly organisation run by students, for students.

• Residential accommodation advisers
  Live in and provide support to students living in halls of residence across the 麻豆果冻传媒, Falmer and Eastbourne.

Campaigning and democracy

• Students' Union elected roles
  Each year, students decide who leads the Students' Union for the next academic year. Visit the before election time to nominate yourself.

• School and course representatives
  All students have the opportunity to vote for school and course reps and stand for these roles. Nominations tend to be asked for by week two. Find more information on the Course Rep area of .
