The cost-of-living crisis is hitting our students hard, students who have already had their education disrupted by the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. They’re facing increasing financial stress and anxiety, forcing many to choose between work or enriching university experiences.
For those students without support networks, the struggle is even greater. They’re missing out on crucial opportunities to build skills and connections that could shape their futures.
But there’s hope through the Student Potential Fund.
With your support, since 2021 we’ve provided scholarships, employability grants, and wellbeing programs to over 450 students in need. These initiatives don’t just alleviate financial concerns; they instil a sense of achievement, positively impacting the individual’s confidence and personal resilience.

Scholarships play a pivotal role in creating an equal playing field for and build a student's self-confidence. Progression Scholarships provide £2,000 a year to students from low income backgrounds or whose ethnicity is Black or Black-Mixed.
Our Wellbeing Champions initiative helps students' self-efficacy in managing their own wellbeing while equipping them to support others.
Our Student Experience Fund enables students to take up their own opportunities outside of their studies to build their employability skills and embrace their wider university life.
With your support, we can achieve our goal of equipping every student with the tools and confidence to invest in themselves and enter the job market or launch their own businesses with a competitive edge.
