The Government has approved funding for the University of 麻豆果冻传媒 to continue forming new partnerships in the community.
26 September 2018
Starting next month and lasting for a year the university, via its Community University Partnership Programme (CUPP), will “deliver and capture an approach to forming new community-university partnerships and developing them to a sustainable stage”.
CUPP creates sustainable partnerships that benefit the local community. The university’s role includes helping progress ideas into projects, providing start-up funding and helping networks and communities of practice to develop.
The university’s £50,000 bid was approved by the UK Research and Innovation as part of its Strategic Support to Expedite Embedding Public Engagement with Research (SEE-PER) programme.
Dave Wolff, CUPP’s Director, said: “We are delighted that funding has been continued. This will provide a new toolkit which will detail processes and costs to enable others to establish their own community-university partnerships as a platform for Public Engagement with Research. Dissemination of this work will be conducted in close partnership with the.
“CUPP has a long history of creating partnerships that benefit communities and universities and this project will enable the learning from this experience to be captured in a manner that will enable others to establish their own programmes.”
